Gregory Wittenberg, MD, FAAD Fellowship Trained MOHS Surgeon

Dr. Wittenberg is a dermatologist with a special interest in Mohs Micrographic surgery. Dr. Wittenberg has been with Rapid City Medical Center since 1999, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. He is also a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He has also recently become clinical professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Sanford School of Medicine. Through his personalized approach to care, he strives to ensure that each patient is healthy, happy and has access to the highest quality of care. Treating each patient as if they were his own family, he explains each part of the surgical process and encourages them to call with any questions. His mission is to make sure each patient is treated like an individual, while receiving the best medical care that can be provided.

Personal Life

Dr. Wittenberg grew up in Hot Springs, South Dakota where his father practiced as a veterinarian for over fifty-years. Following his training, he returned home to South Dakota. When he is not working he can be found enjoying the Black Hills with his wife and three daughters. He is very involved in their school and can be found at nearly every school related function.
